This F.H. Ayres design rocking horse by the Stevenson Brothers of Bethersden, England is made with the permission of the legendary F.H. Ayres, purveyor of the finest rocking horses during the Victorian era and prized by children of all ages and British royalty alike.

To celebrate Her Majesty the Queen of England's Golden Jubilee, Stevenson Brothers of Bethersden, England, designed and handcrafted this very special rocking horse.

This Waxed Oak rocking horse by The Stevenson Brothers from Bethersden, England is based on a 1910 design originally manufactured by the legendary F.H. Ayres, purveyor of the finest rocking horses during the Victorian era, and prized by children of all ages and British royalty alike. 

Having grown up in Kenya, the Stevenson Brothers of Bethersden, England, often camped on the riverbeds and plains of the Serengeti where massive herds of zebra and wildebeest roamed. In recognition of their time spent there, and as a tribute to their Uncle James Bosworthick, who secured their passage out of Kenya in 1958, they decided a limited edition of 100 of these amazing beasts was only fitting.
