Wooden Vroom Vroom Puzzle is a beautiful, deliberate, wonderfully maddening wooden traffic jam. Packed inside this deep-purple bus frame — itself a puzzle piece of sorts, complete with its own wheels and roof rack — is a whole fleet of vehicles in richly varied woods: school buses, cars, vans, a double-decker, each one laser-cut with delightful detail and jammed in at every possible angle. The goal, naturally, is to get them all to fit. Perfectly. Without any of them sticking out, overlapping, or deciding they'd rather be somewhere else entirely.
It looks like chaos. It is, in the best possible way. Designed by Jean-Claude Constantin, whose wooden puzzles occupy that rare space between object and obsession, Vroom Vroom is the puzzle in the collection most likely to make someone laugh out loud — both at the premise and at themselves, roughly twenty minutes in, when the school bus still won't cooperate.
