The Punch Needle Kit | Penguin-o craft looks impressively intricate, takes about two hours to complete, and produces something genuinely worth hanging on a wall. This penguin kit is pure, uncomplicated cheer.
The design does a lot with very little — inky black looped up around a round white face, rosy pink cheeks, a bright orange beak, and two closed, contented eyes that give the whole thing an air of someone very pleased with how the day is going. Enough detail to feel satisfying, approachable enough that beginners finish it without a hitch, landing in a display-ready hoop the moment the last loop goes in.
Everything needed is inside the box, thoughtfully pre-measured and ready to go. Step-by-step video tutorials cover every stage, so there's no guessing and no frustration — just the particular pleasure of watching a face emerge, loop by loop, from a blank piece of monk's cloth.
Suitable for ages 7 and up, though enthusiastic five-year-olds with a patient parent have been known to manage it just fine.
