This delightful handcrafted figure features soft gray felted wool shaped into an endearing mouse form with delicate round ears, sweet embroidered features, and long legs that give him a wonderfully whimsical silhouette, dressed in beautifully knit burgundy overalls with real working button suspenders and topped with a matching red knit aviator-style cap complete with cream-colored ear flaps and pompom.

Whether standing proudly on a holiday mantel, joining a nature table throughout the seasons, or becoming part of a cherished collection, this artisan-made mouse proves that sometimes the most beloved figures are the ones with personality.

Each item is handmade of 100% wool from New Zealand through the ancient technique of felt making. By adding warm soapy water to wool and then pressing and rubbing, the fibers will tighten into a felted textile material. Gradually, as the fibers are tightening together, the items are shaped into their final form - flower, heart, bird, etc. Once it is dried, it is ready for its final embellishments. 

These products are 100% Fair Trade certified by the World Fair Trade Organization and made by skilled Nepalese women. To become fair trade certified, there are ten principles that must be met:
