Two of Gorey's most exuberant characters have abandoned their shoes entirely — a trail of boots and booties arcing up the cover in a rainbow of cream, orange, red, and yellow — while the pair pedals a bicycle below, arms flung wide, one of them declaring Tra-la-la to no one and everyone at once. It is the most Gorey thing imaginable, and the perfect cover for a journal that should contain something equally unruly.
Inside, 180 pages of premium acid-free paper with 7mm line spacing, date and subject headers, and thread-sewn binding that lays completely flat — because good ideas shouldn't have to fight the spine.
