These handmade wooden matchboxes are made with Zebrawood which is native to the lowland forests of Cameroon, Gabon, and the Congo. It is instantly recognizable by its bold striped lumber, which is reminiscent of a zebra's stripes.

These handmade wooden matchboxes are made with Ambrosia Maple that have tiny holes and elongated, colorful streaks caused by an inhabitation of the Ambrosia beetle in a North American Maple tree.

Originally commissioned for a customer in England, this decorative tiger has garnered so much attention, that we have decided to offer an additional nine pieces, bringing the total edition to 10.
